"The BEST way to learn math is to DO math"

There is no extra credit.  Students are expected to do the work that I assign.  I do not assign busy work.

I am after school Wed in the library.

Students are scored on the following:  summative assessments (tests,quizzes)

                                                             informal assessments (projects, challenges)

                                                             student performance (homework, group participation)

We have been working on building community in each of the classes.  Yesterday and today each class has created a class contract.  This is built by the students so that each class will be a successful learning community.

All students are required to use their agenda books.  Parents should be checking every night.  Students should be writing none if they don't have any work for that night.

I am trying to create a wiki site so that each of my classes have their own site.
