About Me
I am in love with science/math and problem solving. I firmly believe that my greatest gift to students would be "curiosity and wonder"-the rest will take care of itself. I am also a tri-athlete and love to push myself to my limits, mentally and physically. I bring this up because the only pic , I'm the one on the left , that I could find of myself was of an award for triathlon.
This year , 2011-12 I will be teaching Physics, Environmental Science, Human Biology and an SAT math prep course.
Last summer I was accepted by the Museum of Natural History for their Climate Change program, allowing me to gain exposure to the Chemistry and Physics of Climate Change which I look forward to bringing to both my Physics class and the environmental curriculum. The coming year is going to be exciting and challanging. For assignment updates: https://sites.google.com/site/shsenvironmentalscience/ms-schuck-s-page

Class Guidelines
All students will be assessed on mastery of content at the discretion of the teacher. Based on various informal assessments of individual and group learning, formal (graded) assessments will be given. |
Homework
Students are expected to have homework completed upon class arrival, this is part of being considered a successful student. If students have difficulty with work, I have help nights on Thursdays after school and can be available at other times upon request.
Homework assignments can be found on my google sites(copy and paste): Environmental: https://sites.google.com//site/msschuckschemcom1/
