About the Springfield School District
The Springfield School District serves 1500 students in four schools: two elementary schools, a middle school, and a high school. Situated in south-eastern Vermont, along the majestic Connecticut River, Springfield has a proud history of achievement in commerce and the arts.
The Springfield School District is located in Southeastern Vermont and serves the residents of the town of Springfield. The Gateway Collaborative school and the River Valley Technical Center serve the communities of Chester, Bellows Falls, Weathersfield, and Fall Mountain, NH. The district has one K-2 elementary school (Elm Hill Primary School), one 3-5 elementary school (Union Street Elementary School), one middle school (Riverside Middle School), and one high school (Springfield High School). The professional staff provide an educational environment with an eye on high standards and quality instruction.
Mission Statement:
All students will acquire knowledge, skills, and positive attitudes to enhance their lives by engaging in learning experiences that are inspiring, relevant, and dynamic.
